Meaning
Oh Padmanabha!  The lotus eyed! Protect me!
Always bestow me with prosperity; the one favorable to the hapless!
You are the fountain of compassion; having the Darsana of you by walking to your abode, my legs have been purified.  Oh the Lord of the universe!  Vanquisher of the demon Mura!  Embodiment of bliss!  My eyes are worthy of having a glance of your beautiful form, bestow the ultimate comfort;  oh the one who dwells in great bliss!
Oh, the consort of Rama!  my hands are always engaged in the worship of your form; the all-pervading one! One who is having the effulgence of the dark cloud!  Let my nose be filled with the fragrance of the Tulasi leaves at your lotus feet.
Let both my ears be filled with the nectar of your glorious story;  the one glorified by Brahma and Indra;  reclining on the ocean, please dwell in my hear oh Lord!
