Meaning

Oh, Saure! Bestow upon me good fortune always.  You are the suzerain of all the worlds.
You are the repository of compassion.  You are adorned with golden raiment. Sages like Sanaka are devoted to you.
You protected the king elephant; you have a moon and the sun as your eyes; your exploits are exciting.  Oh, immaculate Lord!  You are adorned by Siva the conqueror of the god of death;  Oh the consort of Lakshmi! Your lore removes all the sins.
You bestow the desired boons;  Vanquished the demon Madhu; the beauty of your form excels that of Cupid;  the radiance of your face surpasses the moon;  you possess a dark form; in the war, you assailed the enemies of the celestials and annihilated them.
You are praised by ascetics like Narada and Saunaka.  Oh, Sarasijanabha!  Your neck is adorned with garlands.  Oh Lord with large eyes like lotus petals, you are the gem of the earth.  Your speech is nectarine and soft.
