Meaning

Please ave me Lord, whose eyes resemble the lotus flower.  You cut asunder the dense forest like existence.
You have the sun and moon for your eyes and Garuda for the mount.
You are the wish-yielding tree to those who show worship your feet.  Your face resembles the freshly blossomed lotus.
You captivate the hearts of cowherd damsels with a single glance.  You are the annihilator of the clan of demons.
Your form resembles the dark rain-bearing clouds.  You are pure.  Oh, Mohana!  You are adored by Nilakanta Siva.
Lord Murahara!  You are the friend of the helpless ones. You are the joy and pride of sun dynasty.
You are the honeybee hovering around the lotus-like face of goddess Lakshmi.  Your voice is mellifluous like a cuckoo. You hold a bow and arrow in your hands.
You are Lord Padmanabha, who is worshiped by a host of ascetics and celestials.  You are the treasure trove of all divine virtues.

Meaning

Oh, Sarasiruhanayana (one with lotus-like eyes!). Please protect me.
I adorn your feet in my heart, oh handsome like Cupid! Oh, Garudavahana!
You are the celestial tree to the humble devotees, you have a beautiful form resembling the clouds;  oh Jalajanabha! An embodiment of noble virtues;  vanquisher of the pride of enemies and adept in the battlefield.
Oh lord! You are effulgent with the sword nandakam in your hand; Oh Saure! Your feet are worshiped by Suka, Narada and others.  Your teeth are brilliant like jasmine bud Oh lord of celestials! bestower of good fortune!
Oh, Hare! You are the personification of knowledge; lord of the universe; reclining on the serpent has beautiful cheek; charming smile' Oh Sridhara! An embodiment of compassion!  Protector of those who worships! your speech is gentle.

Meaning

Oh, Narasimha! Murari! Protect me.
You are worshiped by Brahma and you dispelled the fear of virtuous.
Oh Lord of Lords!  You removed the mental anguish of those who surrender unto you. Your feet are prostrated by Indra.  Like the beautiful swan that swims in the lotus-pond, you stay in the lotus heart of great ascetics.
Destroyer of the demons; One who absolved the miseries of the Kayadhu's son Prahlada the blessed one.  The vanquisher of Hiranyakasipu who terrorized the world.
You are to sins what fie is to moth; one whose immeasurable anger subsides at the moment that glance falls on the devotee; having eyes like the lotus petal.  Oh, Kamalanabha! always protect me.

Your majestic gait is like that of an elephant in youthful vigor. you are adorned with shining robes like molten gold. You are ever-present in the lotus hearts of sages.  You are adorned with a priceless gem-studded crown.
Your dark form resembles the rain-bearing clouds.  You allay the fears of all the celestials.  You are adored by Siva, the consort of the daughter of the mountains - Parvathi!.  This is the opportune moment oh lord, to take away all my miseries.

Oh, the supreme being! Lord Padmanabha!  Murare, do protect me.
The one who removes the fear of miseries of mother earth who surrenders to him; having the hue of the emerald; sporting a bow and the ears adorned with gem-studded fish-shaped earrings.
One who fulfills the desires of the celestials; having a face like the full moon; worshiped by ascetics like Narada; remover of the fear of Gajendra who worshiped him; having forms like that of water-laden clouds and the charming form praised by Brahama and Siva.  You are like the sun in removing the darkness of miseries; one who reclines on the serpent and has Garuda as the vehicle. Hail! Hail!
One who frightened the Kalayavana, the foe of the Yadavas; adorned with divine Kaustubha and gem-studded ornaments; one who pleased Lakshmi; effulgent and adept in wearing the shining ornamental soft of speech; adorning Tilaka on the forehead; feet like a lotus; excels Cupid in beauty; one who puts an end to the miseries of the people who surrender to him; one who has the glory of having a charming face and good virtues. Hail! Hail!.
The one, who bestows the wishes of those who worship. Oh, Lord! The supreme being! He sports a bow and arrows! The immaculate lord of the universe! One who rides on Garuda who is the enemy of the cluster of serpents; one who enjoys bestowing prosperity; and embodiment of pure sentiments!  Protector of the eminent ones!  one who held aloft the mountain to protect his people and one how played on the banks of river Yamuna.  Hail! Hail!
