Meaning

I always worship the lotus feet of Lord Padmanabha.  He is having the hue of the water-bearing cloud.
His teeth are shining like jasmine buds.  He is praised by Mukunda.  His nose resembles the sesame flower and his smile is beautiful and soft.  He is the fountain of virtues, reclining on the bed of the serpent king.
He is pleased to give boons to those who aspire.  His dresses outshine gold, is having a beautiful Tilaka on his forehead.  He is praised by Siva and Brahma.
He is anointed with fragrant sandal paste on his body.  He is like a sword that cuts the tree of the enemy of the celestials, is a friend of Arjuna and he is too virtuous what sun is to a lotus.

Meaning

I always offer my obeisance to Lord Padmanabha.  Oh Lord, you are the wish-yielding tree to those innumerable devotees who bow at your feet. You are the immaculate one!
The brilliance of your teeth puts to shame the jasmine buds.  The beauty of your form surpasses that of Cupid.
Your benevolent glance is full of kindness. You made the hood of the wicked serpent as a stage and performed an exquisite dance on it. You are the bee, which hovers around the lotus-like heart of sags like Narada.  Your form shines beautifully like the evanescent dark clouds.
Your attire surpasses the brilliance of gold.  You held aloft in your own hand Mandara mountain.  Your exploits are sung by Sanaka and others.  You are ever engrossed in giving the desired boons to those who prostrate at your lotus-like feet.
You allayed the dreadful fear of Gajendra the king elephant.  You repose on the great serpent.  You are to the demons what the great bird is to the serpent.  You have Garuda  (the king of birds) as your mount.

Meaning

Oh Lord of Gods, I worship your lotus-like feet.
From your feet flows the river Ganga, singing your sweet name and glorious exploits.
The feet are the refuge of all deeds, adorn like ornament the lap of Yasoda.  The feet which shine brilliantly like the rays of the rising sun have taken to task, likes a Sakata (the demon) who came in the form of a cartwheel.  The anklets of your feet keep a melodious rhythm.
When the cowherd damsels kiss thy feet, the dark pupils reflect on your toenail making them resemble innumerable moons with dark patches.  Your feet which wandered in Gokula and Brindavana with the sole purpose of cutting asunder the great burden of existence of those who seek refuge in them.
Those feet have danced on the hoods of Kaliya, who feeds on air.  Your feet keep time to the melody you play on your flute, which captivates the whole world.  Those feet are served upon by Sanaka, Brahama, and Indra.  Your feet give immortality and are the only remedy to the woes of existence.  Oh, Lord Padmanabha! You are the lord of Rama.

Meaning

I meditate upon Vanajaksha (the lotus-eyed). Oh, the conqueror of demons; brother of Indira; Mukunda!
The lord with a flawless moon-like charming face.  The one with a blue hue and is praised by celestials and demigods.  One who is draped in the attire that excels gold.  Protector of the devoted ones, who prostrate at his lotus feet. One who is Padmanabha.
Worshiped by the sages like Agastya, Saunaka, and the son of Brahma.  You are the incomparable sharp axe in cutting down the multitude of sins; adorned with various shining ornaments; eyes that are brimming with compassion, and mighty as the mountain.  Oh, Padmanabha!
You hold conch, disc, mace, and lotus.  The embodiment of virtues; praised by the people of the world;  your effulgent form equals that of Cupid.  Oh, Padmanabha!  You dwell in Syanandurapura and worshiped.
