Meaning

Oh God of the three worlds! Give happiness forever and quickly relieve me from miseries.
Oh, Ambujanabha!  You are beautiful as Cupid, drove away from the fear of Gajendra; the esteemed supreme being revered by celestials and sages.
YOu are the destroyer of the enemies of celestials; your speech is as sweet as nectar;  you are the perennial spring residing in the hearts of sages;  you are worshiped by Brahma.
One who granted enormous wealth to Kucela; worshiped by Kubera and noble poets.  Your hair can surpass the dense clouds and your smile is bright.
You reduced the ever-increasing burden of the earth.  You are to Rama what clouds are to the earth.  You are the axe that cuts asunder the mountain like evils.  Do reside in my heart forever.

Meaning

Alas! life is like water held in a mud pot, which, when broken, flows out!
If one does not curb these wicked thoughts, how does the world prosper?
When the house is already on fire, what is the use of thinking of not having dug a well?
Merge in your mind with the lovely red-lotus like feet of Lord Ambujanabha

Meaning

Dear, why is your bright face so pale today?
Oh the one lying on the bed of tender leaves, why are you so reluctant to indulge with me in Cupid's game.
Do you doubt my longing for you?  Or are you interested in other women?  Why do you delay offering your beautiful coral-like lips?
Don't you have some compassion for me who is longing for you?  Please do not listen to others. Oh my, beloved!
Is it fair on your part to deceive me, Oh my beloved Lord Padmanabha! Please come to me today itself and fulfill my desires.

Meaning

Oh, My beloved!  Don't you have even a little compassion for me?  Am I, the hopeless one, don't deserve your affection?
Slowly, the moon is rising up; the gentle breeze is fragrant;  the Cupid is showering arrows of flowers;  oh the one! effulgent as the clouds!  why are you angry with me today?
Your face that excels the moon, your gentle smile that attracts the women, the beautiful form that is worshiped even by Cupid, Oh Siva Siva!  all these add fuel to my passion every day.
One who is having lotus-like eyes!  The embodiment of auspiciousness, fulfill my desires without delay; oh Lord!  You are engrossed in favoring those unfortunate people of this world, immersed in miseries! Oh, Padmanabha! Repository of compassion!

Meaning

I am convinced that worshiping your lotus feet is the only way to obliterate all my grief.
You are the embodiment of bliss. Your virtues are extolled by Sanaka and others.  Your form resembles the dark clouds, Oh Padmanabha!
Oh, Ocean of compassion!  When the daughter of kind Drupada was insulted by Dussasana, she was rendered helpless. When she surrendered to you, at the very instant you saved her honor by giving an unending stream of garments.
Oh lord of celestials!  You are the embodiment of all auspicious qualities.  When beset with great cruelties by his father, the most pious and devoted Prahlada, did not suffer even a litter as he had unflinching devotion to your lotus feet.
Giver of prosperity! Saure!  Vanquisher of demon Mura!  even though the handful of pounded rice offered to you by poor Kucela was meager, you accepted it and made him prosperous as the king of havens.  You are the Lord of the word and the personification of awareness.
