Meaning

I prostrate the immortal one who reclines on the king-serpent, bestower of the prosperity of the Pure dynasty.
Oh, Padmanabha! your feet are worshiped by Brahma, Siva, Indra, and other celestials.
One who resides in the gem-studded mansion on the snow-white island amidst the milky ocean.  One who is forever worshiped by Narada, Garuda, and the devoted ascetics. One who is adorned with the radiant divinely weapons Sudarasana and Nandaka.  The embodiment of prosperity, having lotus-like feet which are worshiped by celestials. Oh, Padmanabha!
You took the adorable child-like form due to the extreme devotion of the meritorious sage Divakara; Your pranks were restrained by the hands of the yogi while snitching away the Salagrama of daily worship.  Out of compassion for the swiftly searching sage, you became steadfast near the three in Anantapura. Oh, Padmanabha!
You, being extolled by the sage, took a beautiful form for the sake of his devotion.   You are surrounded by the holy Padmatirttha, redeeming all woes and miseries. You are praised by Agastya, Mahendra, Trikuta, Malayacalendra.  You are resplendent on the golden Vimana made by Vanci Marttanda Varama the annihilator of wickeds.
You are dorned by the crow, lustrous as the sun, the fish-shaped earrings, pearl garlands, Kaustubha, shining Pitrambara, golden girdle around the waist, and beautiful Vanamala.  You delight in Lakshadipa-festival of laps in lakhs and other daily utsava-rituals done by the sinless and unparallel kings of Vanci. Oh! Padmanabha, whose eyes brim with the nectar of compassion and which are akin to the softest inner petals of the lotus.

Meaning

Oh lord, Padmanabha! let my ears be filled with your glorious exploits.  They are ever fresh and nectarine.
Your great exploits are the very boat, which helps those who are incessantly yearning to find a way to cross the ocean of the cycle of birth and death.
The sage Vyasa, who is held in high esteem by one and all in this world, has expounded these splendid unparalleled exploits.  It has been retold and made famous by eminent sages like Suka and others.
Upon listening to this lore from Jambavan-the eldest among the clan of monkeys, the wing of the great vulture Sampati, grew again.  Hee was thus relieved from misery.
Oh Lord Padmanabha! the conqueror of Mura, even Paramahamsa who have totally controlled their senses, are not satiated even though they listen to your nectarine lore continuously.  Such exploits crush to powder the massive, mountainous, and heinous sins. Please let my ears be constantly filled with your lore.

Dispeller of various miseries without an iota of doubt.
Though there are various scriptures and various relations in the world, oh consort of Lakshmi! Oh, the one who protects those who surrender! Let me have a strong mind not to have partiality towards other gods and have trust only in you.
While crossing the forest, talking holy bath at various rivers, at the time of having great fears and in the midst of great testing periods, Oh louts eyed! Oh, the one who purifies the world! oh, the one who is glorified by the worship of Narada and others! save me and make me have confidence in you.
To the Pandava group, Uddhava, Akrura, and others, you were the expert in protecting and giving Parampada-the ultimate status with compassion and vision of your blissful form! Bestower of boons! Let me have confidence in you!

Oh, Bharathi! The goddess of learning! You are kindly disposed of in protecting your devotees from primordial miseries.
Your face is as beautiful as the orb of the autumnal moon.
You are praised by Indra and the celestials. You are adorned with ornaments as bright as a hundred suns.  Your winsome smile excels the jasmine buds.  Your neck is bedecked with the purest of pearls.  Graceful is gait like the elephant, you are assiduous in dispensing knowledge to the devotees of this world. From your effulgent form emanates the fragrance of sandal, Kasturi, and flowers.  You are the repository of sublime virtues.
You abide in the hearts of the ascetics like Narada.  Suzerain of the three worlds, you are enthroned in Ajnapitha your hands are adorned with bangles.  Eyes like a lotus in full bloom, you give joy to the entire world.  Your eyebrows are charming like the bow of Cupid.  Oh Saraswathi, the darling of Brahma, your dainty fingers move with great felicity on the Veena.
You are the form and essence of all scriptures.  You are the mother of the entire universe.  Your speech is nectarine.  You are the repository of noble virtues.  Your compassionate disposition redeems the helpless ones from miseries.  A personification of the arts, you are worshipped by suka and Sanka who offer obeisance at the lotus feet of Lord Padmanabha.  You are beautiful and your flawless forehead resembles the crescent moon.
