I give my obeisance to Raghurama-belonging to the Raghu dynasty, who is the personification of humility and noble virtues.
One who is effulgent and most becoming side glance which bestows virtues.
One who belongs to the Sun dynasty, who in the process of protecting the Yaga-oblation of Visvamitra son of Gadhi,  annihilated Subahu and others.  One who gave life to Ahalya-the flawless one. Who broke the bow of Siva, and became the beloved of Janaka's daughter Sita, subdued the pride of wrathful Parasurama, the son of Bhragu, and reached Ayodhya.
One who was bound by the command of his father went to the forest along with Sita and Lakshmana by adjourning the coronation one who is equipoised and most virtuous; visited the place of Guha; gave the gem-studded sandals-Paduka to Bharata at Citrakuta. One whose form is a beautiful as Cupid.
One who killed the demon Viradha who lived in the forest; has the glory of possessing Vaishavastra the divine weapon given by sage Agastya; worshiped to Jatayu the king of birds; resided in Panchavati and killed the demon Khara and others who came to fight, instigated by the dreadful Surpanakha.
One who vanquished the wicked Marica, who came disguised as golden deer;& who, in the process of searching for Sita, kidnapped by the atrocious ten-face Ravana, got acquainted with Anjaneya and Sugriva at the banks of river Pampa and annihilated Bali.
One who gave Anjaneya the gem-studded ring, brilliant like hundreds of suns, to be given to Sita; received the exclusive head ornament-Cudamani, sent by Sita through Anjaneya.  Oh the lord of wealth! you accepted Vibhishana who surrendered unto you.
One who is glorified for the construction of Setu; vanquisher of wicked and dreadful deamons; severed the ten-headed Ravana; embodiment of valor; went to Saketa along with Sita who is holified by fire, and was crowned. Protector of the universe, Sri Padmanabha!

Meaning

Oh, my dear friend Bhasurangi! I am afflicted by desire.
Since Anbujanabha, who resembles Indra does not come to unite with me wholeheartedly, my mind is in turbulence.
Dear Tarunimani! Can there be sun at midnight?  Is it for fun people say that Cupid's arrows are like flowers?  Dear one with soft and red lips, has he forgotten, how often he used to come to me with a bewitching smile and indulge with me in amours sports?
Every night I used to visualize his Cupid-like form and wake up;  Alas! What can I say about this misery?  Every day of separation from him feels like an era. Dear Tamara Samamukhi! fae like the lotus, why does he delay in satisfying my desire?
Has his love for me decreased because he is interested in someone else? Among the ladies around here, why should my luck be like this Dear Kannalmiziyomale! maiden with enticing eyes- I am being drowned in the ocean of separation from my beloved. Please go without delay and inform my ardent desire to my dear did, who relines on the serpent
