Meaning

Oh, Gouri! white complexioned! Lord Giridhar came to my doorsteps!
He has come with sleepless eyes with the dried colloquium, with Mahabur on his forehead.  Who knows about how he tempted a lady the previous night and left her in the lurch.  On his chest lies the thread of the garland, which shows that he had been in a tight embrace before coming here.
How can he be happy by jilting the love of the damsel from the land of Vraj!  I had taken great pains to dress up for him and was waiting with a garland of exotic hued flowers!  I had anointed myself with a great many fragrant perfumes.  My dear, the lotus of the pond had wilted still he did not come.
He played on the flute, the melody of that gave me happiness and relief from misery.  He, the lord Padmanabha, reclining on the serpent, has the beauty of crores of Cupids.

Meaning

Oh lord, Anjaneya!  the emissary of Lord Rama, one who is in the proximity of the noble, protect me.
in your prowess, you are greater than the Kunjaravarenya-foremost among the elephants.  You always please the celestials and eminent sages.
As a child, you frightened the sun; the effulgence of your form surpasses the mount Meru.   You destroyed Kumbhakarana the formidable brother of Ravana.  You have the glory of alleviating the immense sorrow of Sita.  You vanquished a host of daemons like Jambumali.  You crossed the ocean skillfully, and set fire on Lanka, with your tail.
You are the great warrior who fought fierce battles.  Oh the son of the wind god! you are endowed with unsurpassed strength and speed.  You destroyed Akshakumara-the son of Ravana, by hitting him with the palm of your powerful hand. You are the bravest among the monkeys.  Your great virtues are sung by the celestials, men, and demi-gods.  You learned all the scriptures from the sun-god himself.  You dwell in the Kadali forest.  You escaped from the clutches of the giant Simhika.
Oh, one who brought the herbal mountain the Mount Sanjivini; you are the mighty warrior, having graceful pale red eyes.  You destroyed the demon warrior Yupaksha.  You destroyed the Asoka forest and made your enemy shiver by burning down the forests.  You knocked Ravana unconscious with a blow from your fist.  With great ecstasy and esteem, you extol Kamalanabha.  Please favor me and protect me.

Meaning

Oh lord, I pay obeisance to you every day with my Karanatrayam- mind, speech, and body.
Your form resembles the dark clouds.  You remove the sufferings of the learned ones.
I enthrone you on a seat bedecked with precious nine gems, and with great deference, I anoint you with fragrant and cool waters.  Oh, protector of this world! What else can be called as good fortune than serving you thus?
Oh lord with eyes resembling lotuses! I worship you with flowers like jasmine, the sacred Tulasi held in a golden basket.  I offer you the lighted lamp and cooked food.  I pray to you every day like this, my lord Padmanabha!

 Meaning

Lord Sri Padmanabha, the beloved of goddess Lakshmi, whose eyes are are as beautiful as blue lotus petals, giving satisfaction to the Andolika chariot, on which He shines on the fourth festival day while Indira and other celestials saluted the load with both palms joined above their head.

The lord of the universe, Sri Padmanabha glitters on the chariot Adolika Vahana.
He adorns fresh flower garlands, is surrounded by bees sucking the honey from flowers.
The charming maidens are overwhelmed with joy thinking that he must be Cupid.
The enlightened sages realized that He is the essence of Vedas. The celestials like India and others proclaim that he is the suzeain of the world.
The devotees with the assurance say that he is indeed Lord Padmanabha, the ocean of love.
